about me
My name is Anna-Maria, but most people call me Marie. I’m 23 years old, born in Hong Kong and raised in Basel. I now live in Bern, where I’m in my final year of a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Production, specialising in multimedia journalism.
From an early age, I was drawn to storytelling — creating magazine mock-ups, filming short movies, and staging photo shoots with friends. Today, filmmaking and photography allow me to combine creative work with the social relevance of journalism, which feels like a natural fit.
Alongside my creative practice, I love spending time in nature, hiking, travelling, playing tennis, and practising yoga. I’m deeply interested in people and psychology — not so much in theory, but in listening, observing, and telling stories that matter, no matter how small they may seem.
